The first Greek Constitution of 1844
Despite the reassurance given by both the Great Powers and Ludwig I of Bavaria at the Treaty of London, the Constitution was not acquired when Otto became an adult (1/1/1835) as agreed, nor was the regime changed to Constitutional Monarchy. On the contrary, the consolidation of power politics of the Monarchy was attempted with the establishment of an authoritarian regime, according to which the King had the power politics in his hands.
