During his numerous trips abroad, throughout his whole life, either as a private individual or Minister and Member of the Parliament, Lambros Eftaxias had the sensitivity, the insight and the financial ability to collect works of art and other objects (e.g. archaeological, folk). In this way, he created a collection which, while alive, he donated to cultural institutions that adorn Athens.
