The time has come to get to know another prominent Greek personality who lived in Corfu. You heard the name Dionysios Solomos earlier on this tour as a part of the Corfu Reading Society. He's our national poet, the one who penned the national anthem and was from Zakynthos. But he spent his most productive years (from 1832 up to his death) in this house, which is now a museum dedicated to his life and work.
