Lion tholos tomb
Lion tholos tomb
Its name is conventional and likely stems from its close proximity to the Lion Gate. It dates back to 1350 B.C.E and features a road paved with isodomic stones. Its threshold is quadruple-layered with almond-shaped stones, while internally, on the entrance side and in a zone within the foundations, it is constructed with isodomic rubble conglomerate blocks.
