“I had noticed that using large-scale grids, architecture becomes sculpture. I don’t mean to brag, but this is an obvious encounter. Once you see it, you are persuaded that this is true. Architecture helped me a lot with my artworks. That is to say, when I study in small scale a sculpture to be constructed in large scale, it helps me having the vision of large scale in dialogue with the landscape and proportions.”
